How Did I Do It?

By freakyfun08

well throughtout these chapters, i knew the assignment so i just marked the important passages as i read. i sort of had to mark a passage that i thought was important and then maybe go back after i read the chapter and change my passage. i read the chapter and figure out what it was mostly about and then i go back and find a passage that shows exactly that. well when i read for other classes, we dont have to do assignments for each chapter so it is easier for me to just read it and somtimes i understand it better. as i read to killĀ a mockingbird, it was confusing at some points so the blogging assignments really helped me break it down and understand it and sometimes i wish i would have been able to do this for other book i’ve read but at the same time i just wish i could have been able to read the book and not worry about assignments.

The same thing occurs for me. I don’t really want to take the time to stop and write reflections and such, but whenever I do it, I take much more away from what I’m reading. Perhaps you’ll like it better when you can own the copies of the books and mark in them. That’s what I enjoy doing.
